The Belgian Institute for Postal Services and Telecommunications (BIPT) has published new coverage maps showing the deployment of the 5G network in Belgium.
According to these data, 5G is currently available to more than 95% of Belgian households outdoors, covers more than 86% of Belgian households indoors and also provides very good coverage to 69% of them, depending on the mobile operator.
The three mobile operators together cover 99.9% of all households. The next step is the deployment of 5G Standalone (SA) in order to make the most of the potential of 5G.
