The investigation conducted by the Belgian Competition Authority, with the support of the BIPT, on the planned cooperation between Proximus/Fiberklaar and Telenet/Wyre has just reached an important milestone:
Proximus and Telenet have proposed commitments which are subject to consultation until 21 November 2025.
Following this consultation, the Belgian Competition Authority could make these commitments binding, opening the door to deregulation of the wholesale broadband markets in the area concerned, under the monitoring of the BIPT.
