The annual statistics report of the BIPT on the electronic communications and television market reveals that the demand for mobile data connectivity is still rising: in 5 years, the number of SIM cards for individuals with active use of data (excluding M2M ) grew by 15%.

At the same time, the usage of mobile data via these SIM cards has skyrocketed.

The average monthly mobile data usage among residential users has more than tripled over the same period, rising from 3 GB per month in 2019 to 10.1 GB in 2024.

Access to the 5G network is now almost universally available, although only 17.9% of the mobile network operators' data traffic passes through 5G.
