Comparative study into business pricing in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom [tariffs February/March 2015]
Publications › Survey -
22/07/2015
As in 2014, this study has been conducted by the Teligen division of Strategy Analytics Ltd. The study reports on the prices of services for professionals and small and medium enterprises in Belgium compared with France, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. The study uses a basket methodology to compare the telecommunications charges paid by eight types of business entities, which are constructed to represent different combinations of services and usage levels. The analysis considers costs for each business type when services are purchased singly to make up the communications requirements of the business, as well as costs when multiplay offerings are used.

BIPT publishes statistics of the electronic communications sector in 2014
Publications › Press release -
17/07/2015
Brussels, 17 July 2015 - Today BIPT has published the annual statistics relating to the telecoms sector. The 2014 general market context shows that turnover diminished, but that operators kept on investing considerably. For the first time SMS traffic shows a decline, while the use of mobile Internet is growing significantly. Belgium stays at the top of the EU ranking for the development of high-speed fixed broadband over 30 Mbps. The Belgian digital TV market continues to grow.
