In order to contribute to research on future mobile technologies, the federal government has allocated a budget of EUR 1.5 million to support research projects on future 6G mobile technologies.

In its judgement of 25 January 2023, the Market Court takes note of the withdrawal by Proximus of its action of 6 July 2022 following the judgement of the Court of Cassation of 11 February 2022 which quashed the judgement of the Market Court of 4 September 2019 dismissing the claims of Proximus regarding the fee for the year 2019 for the use of the radio spectrum in the 2.1 GHz frequency band.
