The BIPT analyses each year the geographic coverage of mobile and fixed electronic communications networks capable of providing broadband services.
This coverage is mapped and the resulting maps are available for consultation on the online data portal of the BIPT.
This decision describes the procedure for collecting data on mobile networks.
The information for this collection of data is obtained from the network operators.
Following the transposition of the European Electronic Communications Code, the BIPT is now responsible for establishing the procedures for collecting these data.
This decision describes how the data will be collected.
