BIPT has granted the fourth 3G licence to NV Telenet Tecteo Bidco. The conditions of the licence were accepted by the licensee on 29 July.

Concerning two violations BIPT imposes a 2.3 million EUR fine.

This decision of the CRC concerns the analysis of the television broadcasting market in the bilingual Brussels-Capital Region. It concludes that cable-operators Numericable, Brutélé and Telenet have significant market power and imposes a series of obligations on them, in particular the obligation to open their networks to competing operators.

This decision concerns the analysis of the wholesale market for the unbundled access and the wholesale market for the bitstream access. The CRC concludes that Belgacom has significant market power on these markets and therefore imposes a series of obligations to fulfil on the operator.
