In future new buildings are likely to be equipped with a multi-operator and multi-technological DAS system. A working group of stakeholders has laid down the minimum technical specifications that are recommended for DAS systems. In this communication BIPT publishes those directives. After all, those DAS systems should be carried out according to the rules. The directives annexed are merely recommendations.

The decision, which replaces a decision from 2011, is to ensure coexistence between aeronautical radars of Belgocontrol and of the Ministry of Defence in the 2700-2900 MHz frequency band on the one hand and the use of the 2500-2690 MHz band by 4G operators on the other hand.

This Decision replaces the Decision of the Council of the BIPT of 4 September 2012 amending the Decision of the BIPT Council of 6 september 2011 on the determination of the numbering plan for M2M communications.
