In accordance with Article 22 of the Act of 13 June 2005 on electronic communications, the BIPT Council has decided to allow the use of the 1950.1-1955.1 MHz and 2140.1-2145.1 MH frequencies on the Thorntonbank at E-BO Enterprises for the establishment and operation of a transmission installation on the Thorntonbank situated in the Belgian economic zone of the North Sea.

Minister Alexander De Croo, BIPT and the SPF Economy launch a campaign to promote mobile Internet in Belgium Brussels, 18 June 2015 – As a consumer, how do you use mobile Internet while avoiding unpleasant surprises? This question is central to the campaign of BIPT (Belgian Institute for Postal Services and Telecommunications) and the SPF Economy, launched today by Vice-premier and Minister of Digital Agenda and Telecom Alexander De Croo. A key element of the campaign is www.surfmobile.be, a website where, as a consumer, you can, among other things discover which mobile data profile suits you.

This decision aims to revise the tariffs of the wholesale services the provision of which is imposed on the cable network operators who are active in the bilingual Brussels-Capital Region (Brutélé, Coditel and Telenet). The wholesale services involved are: Resale of analogue television services; Access to the digital television platform; Resale of broadband services. Deadline: 15 July 2015.
