Satellite stations include, among others things , fixed stations used for radio communications and mobile stations used for satellite news gathering (SNG) for instance. You must comply with the royal decree of 16 April 1998 on satellite earth stations.

TV reception dishes and satellite phones (Iridium, Inmarsat, etc) do not require a BIPT licence.
