Das BIPT schließt das Verfahren hinsichtlich der Inverzugsetzung von KPN Group Belgium für das Anbieten von UMTS-Diensten im 2100 MHz-Band ab

In 2009, BIPT declared KPN Group Belgium in default for not offering UMTS services on the 2100MHz band.

An investigation by the BIPT's monitoring services shows that KPN Group Belgium now does offer UMTS services on the 2100MHz band.

For this reason, the IBPT closes the notice of default without further action.

This decision does not relate to the compliance or non-compliance of the coverage obligations by KPN Group Belgium. The latter is currently being investigated by the BIPT.
