An operator wishing to transfer or rent its use rights may request it to BIPT.
Rights of use can be transferred pursuant to the provisions of Article 19 of the Act of 13 June 2005 on electronic communications (hereafter the “ECA”) and of the Royal Decree of 26 February 2010 on the transfer or lease of rights of use for radio frequencies that are used entirely or in part for publicly available electronic communications services, adopted pursuant to Article 19, paragraph 1, of the ECA.
This section presents the decisions of BIPT on transfer or rental requests of use rights, as well as information on the transfer, the rental or the end of the temporary transfer or rental agreement.
