This market concerns transit services, i.e. the routing of calls, via a third-party operator, between two operators which are not directly interconnected.
Applicable regulatory framework
The decision of 15 March 2011 waived the measures imposed on Belgacom (now named Proximus) within the framework of previous decisions regarding that market. It is thus deregulated.

The first market analysis decision on the market for transit services was adopted on 11 August 2006. Belgacom was designated as having significant market power and was imposed a series of obligations to fulfil.
