The BIPT’s data portal has been updated with recent information on the quality of Belgian networks. Each year, the BIPT carries out a study on on the quality of mobile networks. These past few years, these tests were always conducted via “drive tests”. With an average connection probability of 99.6% in the test zones and an average download speed of 75 Mbps, the results are very good. The same tests were also carried out this year on the busiest train routes in Belgium. With an average connection probability on trains, for all tested railway lines together, of 97.5% and an average download speed of 50 Mbps, good results were achieved.
