On 18 December 2014, the CRC (Conference of Regulators for the Electronic Communications Sector) adopted a renewal decision concerning the analysis of broadband internet markets with the aim of providing alternative operators with access to Belgacom's fixed broadband network. A judgment of the Brussels Court of Appeal of 3 December 2014 overturned the earlier CRC decision and called for further justification of the decision, which was achieved in the decision of this 18 December.
